It is hard to believe that soon it will be Christmas, and another year, The kindergarten have grown so much and learned so much in the past few Months, and we are all so proud of them.
December is always a fun time in our centre! Our Children typically learn about different winter holidays from around the world and winter in general.
We are lucky to have families from a variety of different cultures/religions who celebrate different holidays.
It is so wonderful for us to be able to share our holiday traditions and to learn and appreciate our likeness and differences. This month, we at Steel kids centre, will definitely be busy getting ready for Christmas.
Kids will be making a gift and a card that you will find under your tree—hand-made by your child’solving hands! Shh … Don’t ask what it is … it’s a secret! We are certain that you will cherish this unique gift.
It’s the holiday season, with its incredible sights, sounds, smells and tastes. In math, we will work on a variety of topics including reading and writing the
numbers 1-10 and representing up to 10 objects with a numeral; comparing the number of objects in two groups: sorting, counting and graphing pattern blocks;
using ten frames to find combinations of 10; deepening understanding of shapes; comparing objects of varying lengths; and understanding position language such as up, down, over, under, in front of, behind, below, etc. In Language, we will also learn;
